Yabu: House of Katsu

"My wife and I both love Yabu. We have dined here and other locations many times. The food is always very fresh and the preparation is consistently perfect. I have tried about half of the menu and enjoy everything. My favorite is the salmon. I also e joy the fun in grinding my own sesame, fruit on the side and free refills. The service staff does get too stressed at times and can impact your experience if they are too busy. That aside, I have been numerous times and will return!"

"This place was really good and had an interesting take on traditional katsu. So glad I stopped by. The wait was pretty long to get in, but there were moving people pretty quickly. Once inside, staff were friendly and attentive. Foo came out timely and hot. I got the cheese stick and katsudon and was not disappointed."

I ordered the Katsu pork and tornado omelette curry was lean yet incredibly tender, encased in an incredibly light, crispy panko crust. The staff is phenomenally attentive, proactively refilling my cabbage salad, miso soup, and rice before my bowls were even empty. It’s a bit pricey, but considering the premium food quality and the unlimited sides, it's worth every cent. Perfect for family lunches or date nights!""
